Family Owned Montessori for Early Childhood Education

What is Family Owned Montessori? Simply put - it's a home that has been created with the needs of the children in mind. The place allows children to touch and explore, and to use and master the common objects found in everyday life.

The adults have stepped back and looked at the home through the eyes of a child. In home school, learning is social and active. Children plan and organize events to celebrate holidays and festivals. Children unite with each other or they can work independently, developing critical social skills for elementary school and life. We all know that children have unlimited potential – and there’s no better time to educate children than in the early years.

Through the Montessori Method, children not only learn to read, write, and do math and science, but also, more importantly, they learn to socialize, be independent, and concentrate. This method develops the whole personality of the child, not merely his intellectual faculties, but also to become a self-directed, self-disciplined person. Teachers in Montessori school link the children to the materials and guides the children toward constructive activity. Every child works at his or her own pace and the child has the freedom of movement in the classroom.

In Montessori education there are three important roles:

  • Child

  • Parents

  • Teacher

All three have different roles to perform and if all three give there best then a child can learn in a very effective way and he can learn things very quickly. The environment in a Montessori school is rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experience
